Employment Discrimination
Your employer has harmed your career based on a protected characteristic, such as your race, national origin, gender, disability, or age.
Defamation
Someone made a false statement of purported “fact” about you; the statement was made to a third party; the statement was made negligently, recklessly, or intentionally; and your reputation was damaged.
Workplace Harassment
Sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances (or other visual, verbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature) and actions that create an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment based on an employee’s sex.
Harassment (non-sexual) also comes in the form of a hostile work environment, in which you have experienced hostile or abusive treatment because of a protected characteristic, such as your race, national origin, gender, disability, or age.
retaliation
Your employer subjected you to an adverse employment action, including termination or forced resignation, because you opposed or complained about harassment or discrimination; requested an accommodation for a disability or a religious practice; you reported a suspected legal violation; or you refused to cooperate in committing illegal acts.
Wrongful termination
You were fired you or forced to resign because you opposed or complained about harassment or discrimination; requested an accommodation for a disability or a religious practice; you reported a suspected legal violation; or you refused to cooperate in committing illegal acts. Alternatively, you were fired without good cause contrary to an actual or implied agreement.
unpaid wages
Your employer failed to properly pay your overtime, wages, bonus, commissions or other compensation.
